What Reddit Pipelines do
A Reddit Pipeline continuously scans a subreddit for posts matching your keywords. The AI analyzes each matching post for pain points, buying intent, competitor mentions, and feature requests. Results are organized by signal type so you can act on the strongest opportunities first.
This replaces manual Reddit browsing, which is time-consuming and inconsistent. Pipelines run on a schedule, so you never miss a relevant conversation in your target market.
Step 1: Create a new pipeline
Navigate to the Reddit Pipeline Builder from your dashboard. Click Create New Pipeline. Choose the subreddit you want to monitor — for example, r/SaaS, r/smallbusiness, or any niche community where your target customers are active.
Give your pipeline a descriptive name like 'CRM complaints in r/smallbusiness' so you can identify it later when managing multiple pipelines.
Step 2: Configure keywords
Add up to 50 keywords per pipeline. These should be phrases your target customers use when describing problems. Good keywords include: 'looking for a tool', 'alternative to', 'frustrated with', 'need a solution', and specific competitor names.
The AI uses these keywords to filter posts, then analyzes matching posts for deeper signals. More specific keywords produce higher-quality results than generic terms.
- Pain point keywords: 'frustrated with', 'hate using', 'wish there was'
- Buying intent: 'looking for', 'need a tool', 'recommend a'
- Competitor names: 'Notion', 'Asana', 'ClickUp' — catch switching discussions
- Feature requests: 'wish it could', 'missing feature', 'should have'
Step 3: Run and review results
Execute your pipeline to start scanning. Results appear organized by signal strength. Each result includes the original post, the AI analysis, detected pain points, and a link to the Reddit thread.
Review results regularly and save the strongest signals. Over time, your pipeline builds a database of validated problems and buying-intent conversations in your target market.
